  • Useful Apps to have in your cellphone
    • SmartTravel -  an app where you can download and register on the US government travel website for the SMART program. This program sends your information and your trip information to the local embassy. It also sends you local alerts (e.g. protests, political events, safety concern events) 
    • MAPS.ME - an app that you can download maps to your cellphone and use them without data connection or WIFI connection
    • Google Translate - If you don't speak Spanish, this app is useful to do some quick translations. Remember to download the phrase book in the app so that you can translate without internet connection
