It is a nature reservation on a wetland that holds hundreds of bird species and plants. The trails are very well maintained and flat. It is self-guided. A very nice nature / wildlife experience in El Calafate, especially on a nice sunny day. If you are lucky, you may find flamingos and other big birds.
